Smart Indoor Sprinkler Timer, 4-Zone

The Rain Bird SST400IN is a simple-to-set indoor sprinkler/irrigation system timer and controller featuring 4 zones/stations. This new and improved model replaces the obsolete SST400I. The indoor-mounted timer is incredibly easy to use, eliminating the need for instructions.

Intuitive zone-by-zone settings allow users to establish customized watering schedules specific to each area of their yard, resulting in greener lawns using less water. The timer can control up to 4 valves, with watering times adjustable from 0-240 minutes per zone. Quickly and easily set custom days of the week, odd/even days, or a cycle of independent days for each zone by simply turning the dial.

The timer can be programmed with up to 4 custom watering times per day, enabling proper irrigation of slopes and clay soils through short, frequent intervals that allow water to soak in and avoid runoff. All settings can be easily reviewed on the LCD screen and LED indicator lights.

Additional advanced features include "Seasonal Adjust," allowing watering time to be increased up to 100% during hot, dry months or reduced by as much as 90% in cool, rainy periods. The "Rain Delay" function suspends watering for up to 72 hours, automatically resetting when the delay ends. Single-zone and all-zone manual watering options are available.

Robust surge protection guards against damage from lightning strikes or power surges, and all timer settings are stored indefinitely in memory, eliminating the need to reprogram after power outages. Automatic troubleshooting detects valve and wiring issues, suspending watering to affected zones and displaying a warning message.

The sealed case protects the timer from moisture, insects, and grime, making it suitable for installation inside a home, garage, or waterproof shed. The timer supports a master valve, pump start relay, and rain sensor, and is compatible with most 24 VAC irrigation valves.
