Compact Rain-Bird Controller for Indoor/Outdoor Lawn Irrigation

The industry's most flexible irrigation controller solution that supports flow monitoring, LNK WiFi, and up to 22 stations. For even greater water monitoring and protection from a broken irrigation system, users can install a flow sensor. The ESP-ME3 irrigation controller offers a range of features to enhance water efficiency and convenience.

One of the key features of the ESP-ME3 is its WiFi Connectivity. By simply plugging in a Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module (sold separately), users can access, operate, and monitor their irrigation system from anywhere. The internet-based weather information is used to make daily adjustments to the irrigation schedule, saving up to 30% in water.

The ESP-ME3 also offers Flow Monitoring capabilities. It is compatible with multiple sizes and makes of wired flow sensors, allowing for flow monitoring and notifications to save water and protect against property damage.

Another feature of the ESP-ME3 is the Bypass Rain Sensor by Station. This allows users to bypass the rain sensor for stations under an eave or deck or in a greenhouse, ensuring consistent watering.

The Seasonal Adjust by Program feature enables users to save water by changing the seasonal adjust from 5% to 200% for corrected run times without changing the scheduled times.

The One-Touch Watering function allows users to start manually watering the current program with just a press and hold of the right arrow button when the dial is in the AUTO position.

The Contractor Default feature enables users to save a default program, and if the original watering schedule is overwritten in error, it can be easily restored in just two steps.

Rain Bird recommends that the maximum irrigation zone cycle time be less than the time required for runoff to begin and that there be adequate soak time before the next irrigation cycle of that same zone begins again.

The ESP-ME3 offers a wide range of operating specifications, including station timing from 1 minute to 6 hours and a seasonal adjust from 5% to 200%. It can operate in temperatures up to 149°F (65°C).

With 4 to 22 stations, the ESP-ME3 provides the station count options customers need, allowing the same controller to be installed on residential and light commercial sites. Additional station modules can be added when expanding the irrigation system without the need to remove or power down the controller.

The ESP-ME3 can be upgraded to a SMART controller by adding the LNK WiFi module and a WR2 rain sensor. The LNK makes programming and monitoring easy through the enhanced Rain Bird app.

The ESP-ME3 comes with a power plug and outdoor cabinet, allowing for indoor or outdoor installation. It offers configurable options with additional 3 or 6 station modules for different sized jobs or future irrigation needs.

The controller also provides alerts for system issues, including electrical, programming, or high flow (when using a flow sensor), through a red LED and scrolling messages coupled with mobile device alerts when used with the LNK WiFi Module and the Rain Bird app.

The large text and symbols make the color-coded dial positions easy to understand, while the large 3" back-lit screen ensures clear visibility in dark garages or sheds.
